Z02

Spatial Lipidomics and targeted lipid analytics
Z02

The lipid composition of membranes has a profound impact on membrane remodelling processes. Spatially resolved and single cell lipid profiling are therefore indispensable analytical tools to understand molecular mechanisms of membrane rearrangements. In Z2, we will further develop mass spectrometry imaging (MSI)-based lipidomics, deep spatial lipidomics, single-cell and single-object lipidomics and computational methods to support the consortium in investigating the role of lipids in these processes.
